The “Assessment of the socioeconomic impact of the ESA participation to the ISS Programme” (2016) is a study that covers the past 30 years of the programme, carried out by PwC in cooperation with Cambridge Econometrics, Airbus Defence & Space, and Thales Alenia Space.

The report provides a global and European perspective, within the economies and industries of each ESA Member State.

Looking beyond the cost of the programme, the impact of ESA’s participation is evaluated from a much wider perspective.
