The European Space Agency (ESA) has a broad vision aimed at achieving a new Low Earth Orbit and Lunar economy. To support the stimulation of demand, growth and long-term development, ESA is preparing the creation of the Business in Space Growth Network (BSGN).
About the network
The BSGN will leverage existing and new organisations to build demand for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) opportunities, particularly around the International Space Station (ISS), and bridge the gap between demand and the organisations that can trial and then service those needs.
Inviting your views and engagement
ESA is seeking input from organisations and thought leaders for shaping the Business in Space Growth Network.
Through this Request for Information (RFI), ESA is interested in responses from:
- Customers for research and applications in space from a wide range of sectors (i.e. Pharma, Manufacturing and Energy)
- Service providers to the ISS and other LEO or Lunar projects, including launch providers, and those providing facilities for experimentation or production in space
- Potential network members, including organisations from space and non-space sectors such as incubators, accelerators, innovation/technology/R&D centres, academic institutions and industry associations
- Other experts or organisations with ideas and opinions on how best to build demand for LEO opportunities, with a focus on Business Growth.
